The entries shown largely consist of 'signs of remembrance' established or implemented by the cantons pursuant to the Federal Act on Compulsory Social Measures and Placements prior to 1981. However, they also include significant private memorial sites.
This list is not exhaustive. We welcome additions and corrections.
