Narratives of a childhood in a home, placed in an institution in 20th century Switzerland. Until well into the 1980s, tens of thousands of children and young people were placed and cared for in homes and institutions in Switzerland. Separated from their environment and their families, they were to be educated and trained. Illustrator Simone Stolz approaches the stories, memories and tales of former institutionalised children through drawings and conversations.
